Once you've activated payments, it is important to regularly review your Stripe account status to ensure your account is in good standing. In each country, when you handle money on the internet, governments put in place stringent regulations to ensure all payments are verified and legal. Stripe handles this compliance on behalf of LiveHeats.
How to check your Stripe account status
- Login to LiveHeats and navigate to the Payments area
- On the left of the page, you'll see a status badge. The statuses are:
- Connected means you're all set
- Restricted soon means you need to upload further verifications
- Restricted means payments may be disabled and you'll need to upload further
- If the account says Restricted or Restricted soon then you'll need to click Stripe settings and follow the prompts to verify your account
