Once you've activated payments, it is important to regularly review your Stripe account status to ensure your account is in good standing. In each country, when you handle money on the internet, governments put in place stringent regulations to ensure all payments are verified and legal. Stripe handles this compliance on behalf of LiveHeats.
What to do if your payments go offline?
- Make sure you are connected to the latest version of Stripe on Liveheats. We sent out a series of emails during July-October 2024 about the need to upgrade your Stripe connection to continue accepting payments. To make sure you're connected, visit this page: https://liveheats.com/director/powerups/payments and you should see Active on the top left of the page (screenshot below). If not, follow the prompts to re-connect and verify.
- Make sure Stripe hasn't paused your payments due to verification requirements. For this, Login to your Stripe dashboard at: https://dashboard.stripe.com/. Any outstanding verification requirements will display as warnings on the dashboard
If your dashboard does not show any warnings, you're good to go!
