When athletes enter your event or join your organisation as a member, they will receive an automated email from LiveHeats containing the details of their purchase. You can customise a part of this message to include things like:
- any links or promo codes
- event instructions
- the contact number for issues relating to their membership (recommended)
Here's how to use this feature.
How to customise the email confirmation for event registrations and memberships
- For an Event, go to the Event settings and the Registration tab. For Memberships, go to the Series which you've set up to collect memberships, click on the Series settings and the Membership tab
- Scroll down to the Registration information section and click Edit confirmation message:
- We recommend typing out your message in a word processor like Word or Google docs, so you can customise line breaks and paragraphs easier. Then, paste it in Step 4.
- In the text field, enter the text you'd like to be displayed in the email confirmation. Be sure to include a contact email address. You can also insert links which will be clickable in the email.
- Click Save to update
- Now, when athletes complete their registration, your message will appear in their confirmation email:
