Varying judging configurations are used by the sports we support. To manage the advanced judging settings, go to Event settings in the side panel and select Judging
Hiding the athlete names from judges
To hide athlete names from the judges and head judge, check the Hide athlete names from judges box and hit Update event. This is typically done to reduce bias
Drop lowest and highest scores
If using 5 judges you can opt to drop the lowest and highest scores entered by the 5 judges to give a more accurate score
Head judge must approve scores
You can tick this box if you wish for the head judge to approve the judge's score before they are displayed to the public. This is typically done if the head judge like to monitor their judges score inputs
Setting minimum number of judges
LiveHeats allows any number of judges, and will by default show the average score to the public once one judge has entered. To change this, you can set the minimum number of judges, (e.g. 3), so that the average is only calculated once all judge's scores are entered.
Judging scale
Our default judging scale is 10. You can customise this to any amount (e.g. 100 or 200). Hit update event to save.
