Once the draw is created, your next step is to order the heats or runs into order on your schedule. You can also edit the schedule at any time during the competition. Follow the steps below to set up or edit your schedule.
How to organise the event schedule
- When on the Event dashboard, click Schedule from the menu on the left
- On the schedule you can now use your mouse, or finger to drag and drop the heats into order. The system will provide scheduled start times for each heat/run based on the heat duration you have set in the Division settings, with a pre-set 1 minute buffer
- Set the start time and add any breaks as required (see more details below)
- All changes are saved immediately and available instantly on other devices accessing your event
Note: the schedule is updated in real time during your event, so if you are running early or late, the scheduled times displayed to the public are automatically updated.
Frequently asked questions about the event schedule
A) Can I edit the schedule once the event has started?
Yes, you can edit the schedule at any time, for any heats/runs that have not been started.
B) How do I edit the start time?
To edit the start time, click the day break block at the top of the schedule (e.g. Thursday 21 Jan 2021 | 09:00) and and the start time / date dialogue will appear. Simply scroll to select the time. Note, it will set the start time to the time zone your computer clock is in.
C) How do I add a day-break or break to the schedule?
If it is a multi-day event, or you have a break in the day, hit the Add break button (top right of the page), and select the restart date and time. This will add a day-break to the schedule, which you can drag into position. Repeat for as many breaks as you require. Note, you cannot drag heats above or below a day break, you must move the day break itself.
D) Can I edit or remove the 1 minute buffer between heats?
Unfortunately not. This functionality will come in a future release. Rest assured, the heat times update dynamically if you start the next heat earlier.
E) How can I move whole rounds or divisions?
Hold down Shift to select multiple heats using your cursor, and you can drag and drop them in bulk.
