What’s included in the free trial event?
You’ll get to use the platform at no cost, with full technical support. This includes a dedicated page for your organization (e.g. www.liveheats.com/surfingnsw), and access to all LiveHeats features.
What’s does each event credit cover?
An event credit can include as many divisions, rounds, days, or disciplines as you like, as long as the number of entries is below the limit specified by your plan, and that heats or runs all fit on one schedule. It's also important to note that you can only run a maximum of two heats or divisions at one time simultaneously in each event, using our double panel feature. So with that said, you'll need additional credits to set up multiple 'events' in any of these cases:
- you have more than two divisions or heats running at at same time at any one time, or;
- you have two divisions or heats running at the same time but they start and end at different times (e.g. if you have 2 seperate courses/areas/podiums that run on their own timeline or schedule, and those heats on both courses/areas/podiums will not start and end together)
How does billing work?
You purchase event credits. As you create events, your credits will be consumed, and you can top up when you’re ready.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay within LiveHeats using any major credit or debit card. If you are a small club without a credit or debit card, contact support (sales@liveheats.com) and we can issue a manual invoice for electronic funds transfer.
Can we pay as we go?
Yes you can buy one-off event credits, but rates are significantly better if you buy in bulk. We encourage organizers to buy enough credits for their whole calendar upfront to get the best rates.
What if we cancel or postpone an event?
You’ll keep any unused event credits and use them whenever you’re ready (like next season).
We’re a club with over 100 members. Do we have to purchase Pro Am?
The athlete limit is based on unique athletes in your events. If you have over 100 members, they might not all compete in every event. Reach out to us (community@liveheats.com) if you’re not sure how many athletes you usually attract into your events.
What happens if we go over the athlete limit during an event?
It’s not a worry if you exceed your limit. We understand your athlete numbers fluctuate, so we won’t restrict anything, we’ll just give you a nudge that it might be time to upgrade your plan if you regularly find yourself going over.
We have one annual event that is larger than our standard events. What should we do?
You should choose the plan that meets the needs of the majority of your events. If you have some outliers, you can upgrade events individually.
